India’s largest box office failure, cost Rs. 18 crore to make, but only grossed Rs., ending the careers of eight actors and the director

Bollywood started producing multi-starrer movies in the 1970s, and these movies are often seen to be performing well at the box office. Nonetheless, a number of Bollywood multi-starrer movies have underperformed at the box office, resulting in significant losses for the producers. A 22-star movie that failed miserably at the box office in 2002 marked the permanent demise of many actors’ careers.

Among the numerous superstars in “Jaani Dushman-Ek Anokhi Kahani” were Sunny Deol, Akshay Kumar, and Suneil Shetty. The movie’s producers made a valiant effort to make it a commercial success, but it was a complete failure.

Several actors from the film, including Pinky Campbell, Aftab Shivdasani, Amrish Puri, Johnny Lever, Upasana Singh, Aman Verma, Arshad Warsi, Sonu Nigam, Aditya Pancholi, Raj Babbar, Armaan Kohli, Manisha Koirala, Sharad Kapoor, Siddharth Ray, Rajat Bedi, Rambha, Kiran Rathod, and Shahbaz Khan, were also involved.

In the movie, Armaan Kohli portrayed “Ichchhadhari Naag,” and the movie was based on him. Despite having an 18 crore rupee budget, Raj Kumar Kohli’s film only made 11 crore rupees at the box office, according to sources.

This movie also marked the acting debut of singer Sonu Nigam, and it was regarded as Armaan Kohli’s comeback picture. “Jaani Dushman” ended up being Rajkumar Kohli’s last film, and after the movie’s box office failure, he made the decision to stop creating movies. Following the box office failure of this movie, the careers of Armaan Kohli, Sonu Nigam, Siddharth Ray, Rajat Bedi, Rambha, Kiran Rathod, Pinky Campbell, and Aftab Shivdasani also came to an end.

“Jaani Dushman-Ek Anokhi Kahani” is regarded as one of India’s largest box office failures since it not only cost the director a lot of money, but it also hampered the careers of other performers. Even with so many big names in it, the movie failed to make an impression.
